It captures the spirit of raw black metal extremely well. I love the texture of the sounds and the production (other than the volume on imbalance with the vocals drowning out the instruments often)

And the Dungeon Synth intro is really great as well. One of my favorite intros I've heard actually

Tim McLelland Vocals are sick in this lo-fi experience! Favorite track: Tenebrous Fortress.

Ben Harris I adore the distorted and outmoded quality of this record. It's music that sounds (both stylistically and in terms of lo-fi recording) like it's out of time, hailing from the not-so-distant past but somehow lost in the present; sullen and uncooperative. For all the analogue wonkiness and wilful (un)subtlety, the four tracks herein are all solid contributions. No filler here! Favorite track: Ashen Embrace.
